Made by Chesapeake rod makers JLS Rods, the Model 703 and 704 are excellent choices for fighting gamefish in the Chesapeake Bay and mid-Atlantic. Built with cork foregrip and butt, carbon fiber, all rods are static load tested and our guide spacing is done to match the appropriate reel to ensure you get the most distance and performance when casting. This also prevents the line from touching or going under the blank while loaded.

Warranty
JLS rods come with a lifetime warranty on craftsmanship. JLS uses Taipan blanks that have an exclusive one year no questions asked blank warranty. (YES, this includes your dog eating the blank.) If a reel seat comes loose, guides fall off or similar, JLS will take care of it no questions asked. Normal wear and tear is not covered. Grips missing chunks, dirt, or scratched finish are just some of the examples of normal wear and tear with use and are not warranted. After one year it becomes a limited lifetime warranty and will be replaced or not based on based upon manufacturer's discretion.
